In conjunction with NABARD, the Centre for Micro Finance held a one day conference on Saturday, November 1st 2008 titled, "Sustainability of SHGs: Scope, Issues and Challenges." Speakers at the conference included Dr. Karmakar, the Managing Director of NABARD; Mr. Chandrasekaran, the Chief General Manager of SBI; Mr. Aloysius P. Fernandez, Executive Director of Myrada.
