Designing low-income housing products that are relevant to the needs of the clients, especially with regard to construction and upgrading of homes is an important and urgent area of research. CMF, in partnership with the Centre for Development Finance at IFMR, completed several case studies on existing low-income housing solutions, with a focus on the constraints and opportunities characterizing the target market. These case studies help identify the scope for developing and offering innovative housing finance products and studying their economic and social impact.
