Santadarshan Sadhu specializes in development economics, macroeconomics, household finance and applied econometrics. He holds a Phd in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. Before joining CMF, Santadarshan worked as a Senior Economist at Nathan Economic Consulting India, a Chennai based economic consulting firm. At Nathan India, he worked on developing empirical tools to assist in credit origination and loan application appraisal process for one of the largest microfinance institutions in India. Santadarshan has taught at numerous universities in the United States and in India including the Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Albany and the Madras School of Economics. He joined CMF as a Research Manager in October 2010.
