The Centre aims to help researchers carry out field studies and testing in India. Towards this objective, the Centre will offer interested researchers the following facilities:

• Building and warehousing of relevant databases
• Identifying research sites and local partner organisations
• Office space and facilities for faculty and graduate students undertaking research in collaboration with the centre
• Dissemination through web-site and newsletters
• End-to-end support for India-based data collection efforts including:
        • Data managers
        • Field supervisors
        • Hiring of agencies
        • Management of budgets and payments to agencies
